In May, we had the privilege of accompanying Sissi Hofbauer and Ben Melzer at their civil wedding in Recklinghausen. What a beautiful start to the wedding season of 2023. The civil ceremony took place at the Recklinghausen Town Hall and was as heartfelt as it could be. Sissi’s mother delivered the marriage speech, which brought tears to everyone’s eyes and made the ceremony truly special. The photos, filled with emotions, captured the atmosphere in the Town Hall’s ceremony room.
The wedding photos of the couple were taken in and around the elegant building in the heart of the cultural city. The “Heckflosse,” a vintage Mercedes from the 110 series, was parked in front of the Town Hall, ready to take “the Melzers” to their venue for the subsequent celebration.
At Muhis, they were warmly welcomed by their guests. Sissi and Ben, who design their own stationery, went above and beyond with the concept for their civil wedding. Attention to detail was evident everywhere. After a relaxed reception in the restaurant’s outdoor area, the wedding party gathered inside to wind down the day with delicious snacks and drinks. Of course, a genuine Ruhrpott currywurst couldn’t be missing!
